  1. Just wanted to let people know that my husband and I will be doing a mellow run Tuesday after he gets off work. Most likely to be from Gold Hill to Twin Bridges, starting around 5:45'ish. If anyone would like to join us, please post here. Thanks and we'll see you on the river!

  2. By Stephanie McKee of Arcata Whitewater Paddlers:

Pigeon Point Camp-out on the Trinity! May 18-19! Time to get together for two days of paddling, dining, socializing, and camping! I am reserving the group campsite from USFS for Shasta Paddlers, both old and new clubs! I will also be buying beer, charcoal and etc. $$$ are coming from old club treasury.

Nearby paddling includes class I, II, III, and IV(V) runs and a surf wave at the camp. More details later and a poll asking who is going so I can estimate fluid consumption. Good opportunity to get some mentoring and meet new paddling buds.
